Are you a Garf side account. Not on any planet isnt that even considered. Not only is Toff more valuable to the Kings. Kings dont want anything to do with Moulson. |

How do you know that the Kings would not consider that and don't want anything to do with certain players?
Not saying the Moulson is anything great, but we don't have any idea on how that prospect will turn out.
A good, smart run organization would consider all the options. Which I think Los Angeles is.
Moulson put up a lot of goals with JT. He could probably do the same with Kopitar or Richards. I think Carter likes to shoot more than pass, if I am not mistaken.
The Kings are a team that is ready to win another cup right now. Scoring goals is a problem for them. Why would't a team like that trade a prospect taken in the second round for a proven scorer to to help them win now? |

Moulson already didnt work with Kopitar once. The ceiling for Toff is much higher. Makes zero sense to make that kind of move. Kings dont need to consider even bringing in a Moulson. Kings have theyre veteran forwards and our future kids. |

My god, Scrivens is getting the job done and Martin Jones is the best goalie in the AHL chomping at the bit to get a chance. Your so panicky, lol |

Yes, panic trade for Miller right now. That way, when Quick comes back in January-February, you give up good assets in order to have a $5+M goalie sitting on the bench every game. Great idea. |

If I'm Kings GM Dean Lombardi, I'm investing in a blood pressure cuff for hourly readings.
If I'm Lombardi, I make an inquiry about a winter rental names Ryan Miller.
But you're not Dean Lombardi, and Kings fans are thanking their lucky stars.

It's fun to come on here every day and try to guess which team Garf is trying to pimp out Miller to. Same article, over, and over, and over, and over............... |

"Since Quick was replaced by Ben Scrivens in the loss to Buffalo, the former Maple Leaf is 5-1-3 this season with a 1.37 GAA and .946 save %. Scrivens has allowed 12 goals against on 223 shots in goal. He's lost his last two starts by one goal. The Kings have scored only one goal for Scrivens."
Garth, you've really got to start putting some thought into these blogs. The paragraph you wrote above conflicts with the ultimate end you're trying to sell, that the Kings need Miller.........these are better numbers than Millers!!! Why would any coach/GM not ride Scrivens out and see if he can maintain it? |

I'd say Los Angeles needs to score more goals, not get a better goalie.
But I'm only a Habs fan |

WOW! In all these games that Scrivens has played, the Kings have only scored one goal. They must be getting shut out a lot! |

It's no wonder why the guy gets no one to comment on his blogs anymore.
I mean, if it were me, I'd try to up my game so people at least were tempted to take me seriously for once. |

Moulson is a proven goal scorer, you are hoping Toffoli turns into what Moulson is. Also, the NHL is a business, cup runs and/or victories mean $$$ and the Kings have a much better shot with Moulson in the lineup than they do with Toffoli.
Whether or not the deal would actually get done is unknown, but it is definitely a deal worth considering for LA. |

The fact that a) we can always use help at LW, b) he has family ties to Quick, and c) Terry Murray is long gone means to me that yes it would make sense to consider it. But I doubt you'll find many LA fans willing to give up Toffoli for him. Vanek may have been a different story, cap issues aside. |
